About the Event
Pixel Craft is a UI/UX design competition that tests participant's creativity, design thinking, and
problem-solving skills. The event consists of a preliminary quiz followed by a Design Sprint, where
participants create a UI/UX solution for a given real-world problem.
Key Event Highlights
- Prelims Screening: MCQs assessing design fundamentals, color theory & wireframing.
- Mains Design Sprint: Live 3-hour prototyping challenge based on real-world problem
statements.
- Prototyping Tools: Craft high-fidelity, Code Based interactive prototypes using React Native,
Flutter, HTML/CSS/JS, or other approved platforms (Figma is strictly prohibited).
- Live Jury Pitch: Present design concepts, navigation user flows, and UX decisions
directly to judges.

Mains — Design Sprint
Qualified participants will be provided with 5 real-world problem statements by the organizers. Based on
the given problem, participants must design a UI/UX prototype using approved development/prototyping tools
(Figma is strictly prohibited).
Participants will present their design prototype and briefly explain the user flow and design approach to
the judges.

Expected Solution
Participants are expected to design a UI/UX prototype using approved tools (Figma is prohibited) that
effectively addresses the given problem statement. The prototype should clearly demonstrate the proposed
solution and its user flow. Participants may be asked to briefly explain their design and navigation during
the presentation.
Rules & Regulations
- Participation should be team of 2 members.
- Participants must carry a valid College ID card.
- The quiz consists of MCQs, and the top-performing participants/teams will qualify for Round 2.
- All teams will be provided with 5 problem statements at the beginning of Round 2. These problem
statements will also remain projected on the screen throughout the session for easy reference.
- Figma is strictly prohibited for this round. Participants are free to use development framework tools such as React Native, Flutter, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, or any other approved platform .
- Teams may attempt any or all of the given problem statements within the allotted time.
- The team that successfully completes the highest number of problem statements with good quality will be
ranked higher.
- The UI/UX prototype must be created entirely during the competition using development framework tools .
- The use of built-in AI features integrated within UI/UX design platforms is strictly prohibited.
- All submitted work must be original. Any form of plagiarism or unfair practice will lead to
disqualification.
