About the Event

Technoverse is a technical paper presentation event that provides students with a platform to present research ideas, technical findings, and innovative solutions. The event promotes research, technical writing, knowledge sharing, and effective presentation skills.

The event consists of two rounds: Paper Screening and Final Paper Presentation with Q&A.

Key Event Highlights

• Prelims Screening: Paper evaluation based on research depth, IEEE format, & methodology.
• Mains Defense: 10-minute PPT presentation followed by a 2 minute live defense & Q&A session on 12th August 2026.
• Research Domains: AI/ML, GenAI, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Cloud, IoT, Web/Mobile & Blockchain.
• Submission Deadline: 8th August 2026 at 9:00 PM (Strict cutoff).

Prelims — Paper Submission and Screening

Participants must submit a technical or research paper in the prescribed IEEE format. The papers will be evaluated based on:

• Technical content and research depth
• Originality and relevance
• Methodology or proposed approach
• Paper organization and clarity
• Following IEEE standards for document formatting, structure, and referencing

Shortlisted Teams will qualify for Mains.

Mains — Final Paper Presentation and Q&A

Date: 12th August 2026

Shortlisted teams will present their work before the judges using a PowerPoint (PPT) presentation. The presentation should cover:

• Problem statement and objectives
• Methodology or proposed approach
• Key findings or results
• Conclusion and future scope

Presentation Requirement: The presentation must consist of exactly 12 slides.

Presentation Time: 10 minutes    Q&A Session: 2 minutes

The Q&A session will assess the participant's understanding of the presented work.

Paper Submission Guidelines

The paper must follow the prescribed IEEE paper format.

The paper should include:

• Title and author details
• Abstract and keywords
• Introduction
• Methodology / Proposed Approach
• Results and Discussion
• Conclusion
• References

The paper should be based on one of the following domains:

• Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML)
• Generative AI
• Data Science
• Cybersecurity
• Internet of Things (IoT)
• Cloud Computing
• Web and Mobile Application Development
• Blockchain Technology

The mentioned themes are indicative and not exhaustive; participants may submit papers on any relevant technical or research topic.

All external sources used in the document should be properly acknowledged.

The final paper must be submitted in PDF format before the specified deadline.

Submission Deadline: 8th August 2026

Papers submitted after the deadline will not be considered.

Participation Guidelines

• The event is open to undergraduate students from recognized institutions.
• Participation is team-based (2 members per team).
• All participants must complete the registration process.
• Participants must carry a valid college identity card.

Rules & Regulations

1. The submitted paper must be original and relevant to a technical or research domain.
2. Plagiarism, copied content, false authorship, or misrepresentation of work will result in disqualification.
3. Papers that do not meet the required format or evaluation standards may be rejected during the screening round.
4. Only shortlisted teams can participate in the Mains.
5. Selected teams for the final paper presentation will be notified through WhatsApp groups or email. Shortlisted teams must then upload a PowerPoint presentation of their paper.
6. Participants must follow the event schedule and instructions provided by the organizers.
7. Participants must complete their presentation within the allotted time and answer questions during the Q&A session.
8. Any unfair practice or misconduct may result in disqualification.
9. The decision of the judges will be final.

NOTE: The submitted work must be based on a domain in which the participants have previously worked through academic projects, internships, research, coursework, or practical experience.

Expected Outcome

The event will help participants develop research, technical writing, presentation, and communication skills. It will also provide experience in presenting technical work and responding to questions from experts.
